Position Summary:
The Member Services Representative is the face of our gym and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, energetic, and motivating environment for all members and guests. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving membership sales, and building strong relationships within the gym community.

Key Responsibilities:
Member Experience & Engagement
  • Greet all members and guests with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere by building relationships and engaging in positive conversations
  • Help motivate members and contribute to a high-energy gym environment
  • Address member questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Tours & Sales
  • Conduct gym tours for walk-ins and scheduled appointments
  • Effectively present membership options and promote the value of our facility
  • Sell memberships and additional services, including group classes, personal training, sauna access, and supplements
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
Lead Management
  • Contact new leads within 24 hours via phone, text, or email
  • Schedule tours and follow up to convert leads into active members
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects to encourage engagement
Membership Management
  • Understand all membership options, pricing, and promotions
  • Process new memberships, upgrades, and add-ons accurately
  • Clearly explain and enforce the gym’s cancellation policy
  • Assist members with cancellations when requested, ensuring proper procedures are followed
Systems & Administration
  • Learn and effectively use GloFox, GymSales, and FranConnect systems
  • Maintain accurate records of member interactions, sales, and updates
  • Complete daily administrative tasks as assigned
General Club Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and common areas
  • When not giving tours, taking out the trash, stocking, and general cleaning
  • Assist with gym events, promotions, and community outreach efforts
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support overall gym operations
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outgoing, friendly, and “bubbly” personality
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with a wide variety of people
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software systems
